Huntsville ALHYBRID Position 2 days in officeThis program requires US CitizenshipAbout the job The primary responsibilities of the SharePoint Developer will be to research and develop collaborative information environment (CIE) web front-end requirementsThe SharePoint Developer works closely with SharePoint team members and assist with the development of new SharePoint websites and applicationsOther responsibilities include facilitating and participating in SharePoint quality testing, code peer-reviews and code release management.

CertificationDiagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve or escalate tickets submitted via the CIO/CONOPS Service Center (CSC).
Participate in teleconferences regarding SharePoint issues, training, innovation, collaboration, or in support of a community of practice.
Draft technical documentation for developed solutions to capture and retain continuity.
Contribute to internal business processes for SharePoint customizations and lifecycle management to include documentation, requirements gathering and analysis, testing, and development of best practices.
Web Front End Development Implement full range of the Software Development Life Cycle (requirements gathering & analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance) with respect to SharePoint application development for client-side and provider hosted web applications within the supported SharePoint environment.
Create and maintain technical and non-technical documentation for developed solutions.
Contribute to future development and growth through client-side development best practices, client-side frameworks, and incorporate new technologies and leading industry trends within the supported SharePoint environment.
Leverage industry best processes and practices known to reduce cost, schedule and performance risk.
Be proficient and knowledgeable in utilization and configuration of SharePoint objects leveraging the SharePoint client-side object model (CSOM), JavaScript object model (JSOM), and representational state transfer (REST) Application Program Interfaces (API).
Be proficient in client-side development leveraging JavaScript, jQuery, Hypertext Markup Language (HTML), Cascading Stylesheets (CSS), SharePoint Web Services, AJAX, etc to develop and construct client-side code to retrieve information from SharePoint objects and push information to SharePoint objects; use client-side code to implement major customizations in a SharePoint environment.
Leverage integrated development environments (IDE) for SharePoint customizations, specifically SharePoint Designer (experience in Microsoft Visual Studio is beneficial)Contribute to future development and growth through client-side development best practices, client-side frameworks, and incorporating new technologies in a SharePoint platform.
